It is the buyer's responsibility to read and understand this return policy before ordering.

 

Your satisfaction with your purchase is our #1 concern!  The merchandise you order from EPUsales.com has either met or exceeded our expectations; however, if an item you order falls short of your expectations, we apologize in advance for not meeting your satisfaction requirements, and ask that you please read this entire page for important information on returning your product, if you choose.

Confidentiality - We would like to assure you that your confidentiality will be maintained in all dealings with our company and we would under no circumstances disclose any information to a third party. We will not attempt to make any further contact with a customer when a sale or inquiry has been made unless specifically requested to do so by the customer or if we have questions about an order.  If you have any special delivery requirements, please discuss this when placing the order

Customer Satisfaction Guarantee - Customers who are not satisfied with their product, no matter what the reason, will have up to ten (10) days from date of delivery* to request a refund, credit or exchange (see excluded items below).  Requests for refund, credit or exchange must be made by telephone or e-mail only before any products are returned, and under no circumstances will returns be accepted otherwise.  Request by mail will not be accepted, as the request can get lost in the mail and EPU or EPUsales.com will not be held responsible for mail lost in transit

Manufacturer Defects - EPU guarantees, at its discretion to refund, credit, exchange or repair (belts only within 24 months of invoice date) items that are faulty by design or workmanship, provided that the goods have not been misused, modified, or attempted to be repaired by anyone other than the manufacturer and provided that the goods have been stored, operated and maintained in excellent, resalable condition.  Note Do not claim an item is defective, as an attempt to gain some type of  unjustified restitution.   Also, do not purposely damage an item, for this same reason.  When there is a claim of "defect", it is imperative, that the item is actually defective, not damaged either accidentally or intentionally.  If after evaluation by EPU or it's affiliates it is found an item is not defective, the return shipping of said product will be the responsibility of the customer. Additionally, if you do not claim the returned item within fifteen (15) days from the date it is determined non-defective, by sending us payment for the return shipping and handling back to you, the product will become the property of EPU.

Request By Phone - To make a request for return by telephone, please call:  1-972-559-3500 or Toll Free:  1-888-EPU-0555, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, CST (excluding holidays)

Request By E-mail - Request for return made by e-mail must be sent to:  returns@epusales.com.  Request by e-mail must include the name of the buyer, the original ship to address, date of the transaction, and the reason for return, credit or exchange.  You will be e-mailed within 48-hours (excluding holidays) with instructions on how to return your item

Return Authorization Number - A Return Authorization (RA) number will be issued for all requests, as long as the request is received within ten (10) days from date of delivery* (see excluded items below).  Note:  Please write the RA# largely and clearly, with a dark marker, on the outside of the return package

Allowed Days To Return Merchandise - Once an RA# has been issued, the buyer will have ten (10) days, from the day after the RA# is issued, to return said merchandise.  Merchandise received after the ten (10) day time period will be refused and the customer will be responsible for any return shipping charges incurred to send the item back to customer

Conditions of Returned Goods - All returns must be in original unused condition, in the original packaging, with the original tags and labels attached, if applicable.  A copy of the original receipt or invoice must be accompanied with the return.  Returned merchandise cannot be worn, modified, mutilated, damaged, smell of perfume, detergents, chemicals or any smells of use.  If after evaluation by EPU or it's affiliates, it is found an item has been worn, used or otherwise, the return shipping of said product will be the responsibility of the customer. Additionally, if you do not claim the returned item within fifteen (15) days from the date it is determined the item is not resalable, by sending us payment for the return shipping and handling back to you, the product will become the property of EPU.

Return Shipping and Handling (if applicable) Charges  - Return shipping and handling charges are not refundable (as the original shipping is free), unless the reason for the return is the fault of EPU.  In this case, we will take responsibility for the return shipping back to us, by issuing a carrier call tag for the carrier to pick up the item from the original ship to address only.  When submitting your request, buyer must notify EPU if the original "ship to" address is no longer a valid address.  If the "ship to" address is no longer valid, the buyer is then responsible for returning the item at their expense, because moving the item from the original "ship to" address to another location greatly increases the probability of damage(s) or the type of damages, if applicable, to the product, thus eliminating EPU from being responsible for the cost of the return shipping.

Return Shipping Insurance - It is highly recommended you insure your returned merchandise with the carrier.  Shipping insurance rates are usually nominal, however, we do not refund shipping insurance charges - no exceptions.  This charge only guarantees your product will be returned to EPU in a safe manner, without problems such as lost or damage.  Sending a package back to us uninsured is solely up to the customer; however, EPU, EPUsales.com and it's affiliates will not be held liable for packages lost, stolen, damaged, mutilated or otherwise, while in transit

Damaged Goods By Carrier - Damaged merchandise received by the buyer must be reported to EPU within 2-days of receiving the item, so that the carrier may be contacted.  This is very important, as each carrier has it's own set of rules and regulations for claims, which are outside the scope of our return policy, and therefore, not under our control

Credit - If a customer prefers an "in-house credit", instead of a refund, credit must be used within 120-days (including weekends and holidays) of issuance - no exceptions.  After 120 days, there is absolutely no restitution on unused credit.  Credit may be used towards the purchase of any merchandise offered by EPU or EPUsales.com, including sales items, specials and one-time offers.  Partial credit may be used towards the purchase of merchandise; however, the credit balance will be subjected to the remaining 120 day period. Our website is not currently set up to use "credit" as a form of payment; therefore, to use your credit please contact Customer Service.  Customers who have been issued credit and have an e-mail on file with EPU may receive a reminder of credit e-mail, 10-14 days before the expiration date of the credit.  Keep in mind, sending a reminder e-mail is not a guarantee, and is not part of our everyday business practice; therefore it is still the responsibility of the buyer to use the credit within the 120-day period

Exchanges - On rare occasions, exchanges for a different size or color of an item, cannot be granted if the item is no longer available.  In this case, you may:

  1. Request an exchange for another item.  If applicable, the customer will be responsible for any additional charges over the price of the original item.  If the new item is less than the amount of the original item, the customer may request a refund or credit (see credit bullet above) of the remaining balance

  2. Request an "in-house" credit of the full amount, for future use.  Suggestion:  This option almost guarantees you will have first choice on purchasing an item from our website, since most of the apparel on our our website is "first-come-first-serve", meaning we only keep a small quantity of an item (apparel only)

  3. Request a refund, if the request is made within 10-days from the delivery*

Custom Designs - There is absolutely no refund, credit or exchange on items made to your specifications - Also called custom design(s)(ed) items or merchandise - no exceptions

Refunds - Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the date we receive the product in its original condition.  Refunds relate to cost of goods sold only and does not include return shipping (unless the fault of EPU) or insurance charges

Quotations For Merchandise - Are only valid for the period stated and represent no obligation until the seller accepts the buyers order

Cancellation of Orders - Customer has the right to cancel an order for a full refund, within 24-hours (including weekends and holidays) of placing an order, from date and time the order is received.  Cancellation requests received after the 24-hour grace-period will not be accepted

Items in the following categories ARE NOT eligible for refund, credit or exchange, unless item was damaged in transit or the wrong item, size or color, if applicable, was shipped; in which case the item will be exchanged for the same or correct item at no additional cost to the buyer:

Additional Information

We understand there may be times when a product ordered does not match the decorum of a room or a specific effect was not accomplished.  At our discretion, we hold the right to allow an exchange to be made for a more suitable product from our range after the 10-day return request period has expired.  All factors involved will be taken into consideration, and approvals for exchanges will be made on a case-by-case basis.

 

We are continuously improving our product range and website to bring our customers and site visitors the most current content available.  For this reason, EPU reserves the right to change this policy and the content of this website at any time, as deemed necessary, without prior notice.  Please check back frequently for changes to our return policy.
